Saturday involved walking around our neighborhood and checking out the parks and shops. We then had an early dinner at a restaurant called Rosetta. It was a fancy place with some good wine, and very tasty food. Even the dessert was outstanding and exceptionally satisfying.

It was a bit of a pricey meal, which was significant because it was a reminder that while you can get extremely inexpensive food over there, you can also go to very high-end and luxurious restaurants and those prices will be competitive with other nice restaurants around the world. Just depends what you want and are willing to spend.

After that, we headed over to a bar called Limantour, as this place was rated one of the top-10 bars in the Americas. I wasn't sure why exactly it got that rating or how people even rate these bars. I mean it was very nice and had quite an assortment of creative drinks, but I wouldn't say it was exceptionally outstanding. Just a nice festive bar. We stayed there awhile, and had a few drinks, and then went out looking for other things to do.

We came across another bar that was playing some music inside and went in. We sat at the bar for a while, and my friend Lesly chatted up some ladies next to her who actually invited us all to their house the next day, but while that was a nice offer, we obviously weren't going to be able to take them up on it. The music downstairs was fun, and we learned that they were having some jazz band play upstairs a little later. There was a cover charge, but we wanted to hear some good jazz, so we decided to sign up for it and headed up there once it was ready to begin.

We got a table and they did have a decent band, but they weren't really playing jazz. The music was okay, though nothing exceptional. Granted, there were a few tunes that were kind of catchy, including the Inspector Gadget song. We were able to order drinks and food at the table and stayed there for quite some time and then left late to go back to the flat. Another filled and festive day.
