I had two shows to see on this day. To get to the first show, I decided to walk along the Thames for a ways and got to see things I had never seen before. I guess I have just never been at this part of the river on the north side. The weather was cold, but still exhilarating. I got over to the theater at the West End and went inside to see “Best of Enemies,” which had Wendell Pierce and Zachary Quinto in it. It was nice to see some celebrities in a play, and plus, it was a great show detailing television debates many years ago and how they were starting to change and become a lot less friendly and more like tabloid television.

After the show, I walked around a little, and then had to get to my next show which was “From Here to Eternity.” It was a musical based on either the book or movie, and, well, none of the songs were memorable or worthwhile, so I'm not sure they're going to continue it. If they do, they should consider just making a play. It's just not something that needs to be musical. It's funny is it has a famous composer (Tim Rice) who worked on “Chess,” “AIDA,” “Joseph,” a few other big musicals. So that was a little odd, but it was fun to see. The tickets were cheap, so I have no regrets.

It was evening now, so I went around and got more night pictures. I got over to Westminster Bridge and Big Ben to get some photos of that. And I took my standard Westminster Bridge lights mixed with the London Eye shot. It's something I like to capture each time – hopefully using a better camera, and then I took a long walk along the Thames, although I was going the wrong direction and didn't realize it. At some point I figured out I wasn't going towards my flat. I then they had to find a Tube station and take a train ride all the way back. It was a bit of an adventure.
