Today was moving day. I checked out of the Citadines Hotel in Holborn and went over to the Westminster part of town, and checked into the Wellington hotel. For the day’s main event, I went to the Old Bailey, which are the high courts, as I wanted to see the court system in action. One thing they don't allow of course is electronics, but they also don't let you check them there. So I had to go find a they recommended which allowed you to check bags and personal items like electronics. I guess there's a bit of trust there, but if the jail staff recommended the place, then I couldn't foresee any issues.

It was only 5 pounds to do so. It was just so strange and nerve-wracking to no longer have my cell phone with me. If I got lost, it could be really tough to find my way back. But I guess I knew the city pretty well at that point.

I went into the courts, and observed a few of the proceedings. It was all very fascinating. Some of them still wear the power wigs, though otherwise it's very modern with laptops and monitors all about the place. It's also quite boring, though I didn't really expect it to be very exciting. One thing about it was how somber some of the proceedings were because they were talking about murder cases, and such. The people in the gallery looked mostly bored or unhappy as well because they were either suffering from the crime or were relatives of the person who committed a crime. I only went to two of the courtrooms and then headed out. It's something to do once. But yeah, they are very serious in that building.

I headed over to the Science Museum finally, and oops! It was very crowded with kids. I guess schools were out for the week, so people were bringing their children there. Still, it was great to see some of the old exhibits and the new ones. There's just so much great science at that place. But it's also easy to get a little tired of it after a while so I didn’t stay very long.

Then I went to the National History Museum and wandered around a little bit, but I didn't stay there long either. Once outside I simply had to take photos of the beautiful building which is incredibly remarkable. I next went over to Saint James Park, where I got to see the pelicans, and swans with their cygnets. It's always a beautiful place for nature and photos.

Once back in my area, I went out for pizza. It was Franco Manca again and I made sure to get the right pizza this time. Along the way, I also found some of the “Queen’s Corgis,” which were painted corgi statues placed about the city. I never found all of them, but perhaps three or four. I then headed over to the West End since I had a ticket to see “Dear Evan Hansen,” which would be my final show. I did enjoy the production quite a lot. I guess I didn't know what to expect, but it's really well done and has some very memorable music. Once that was finished, I walked around for some more pictures since it was my last night, but I was soon tired and finally headed back to my hotel room, packed up, and crashed.
