Travel Diary

Sunday we went checking out some model homes. Those were always kind of enjoyable, and really, you get to see some just extremely nice homes for the money.

Funny. It used to be probably a fourth of what you'd pay in other cities like Pleasanton and the Bay Area. Now I think it's probably half as much, which is still good. But the prices certainly have increased; although we looking at some really, really nice homes. So I don't know. Way too much home for me but I can’t predict the future. Thus, anything is possible.

After that we headed over to this sort of like an old resort, basically like a cabin rental area where people rent homes around a small lake with a lot of things to do: a zip line and paddle boats, and you can swim there. Just a lot of fun stuff.

I didn't go swimming, but hung out there for a while, and a lot of people showed up, as they had a nice pizza party and birthday party for my nephew. It was a great time. I really enjoyed it. It was kind of sad to leave so soon, plus there was actually unlimited beer, so that was a great perk too.

But soon enough I was heading to the airport and hopped on a flight for a nice sunset flight over to Seattle.

And that was it for that trip. A short, but good time.
