Travel Diary

One thing that was disappointing was that my flight the previous night (which I missed) had been upgraded to first class; however, the new flight I booked did also get upgraded to first class, so it all worked out in the end.

At JFK, I arrived early, so I used a lounge pass I had to access the Alaska Lounge. There, I got a bagel, egg, and cappuccino. Since the Alaska First Class food isn’t especially good, it was okay filling up a little before the flight.

Soon, I was on the plane and finally heading back to San Francisco. Once airborne, I ordered a mimosa for a drink and they later served an omelette, veggies, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, and a roll. Yeah, a fair amount of food. When we landed at SFO, I cleared immigration and went outside.

There, I had to summon an Uber because I didn't have a car, and I didn't want to take BART. It was gonna cost me $92, yet there was nothing I could do about that. It was just the way things had to be. I was that against taking the BART train for two hours. About an hour later, I was finally back home again with my two week vacation coming to an end.
