Travel Diary

Another relaxing day as no show was scheduled. We headed into downtown Fort Myers where I finally got a really good look at what it’s like. Lunch was at “The Lodge,” which had tasty food and a nice atmosphere. We had the waitress take our photo, but a huge roll of paper towels was in the middle of the show. I knew it was there even when she was taking the photo, but figured I could remove it with AI, and I did exactly that later on.

We walked around some and tried out a small hole-in-the-wall pub, which was fun. Just a simple beer for me. Then we headed over to the water and I sent my drone up for a while.

One unusual sight was an eagle flying around. I didn’t expect to see that in Florida. Then it was back to the car and back home again. Just a rehearsal in the evening, but overall, quite slow and calm. A fine day.
