Since the flight was fairly early, I had another 4am wake up. Not fun. But I was packed and prepared. I’d be bringing my huge suitcase for the first time in years. Just a lot to pack for nine days. I also couldn't take the train as it was just too big to carry around. But Uber was only $60.
At SeaTac, I checked my bag and then found a TSAPreCheck line. It seems like during normal hours, it’s faster than even the SpotSaver method. When I reached my gate, I had some time to kill, but finally we took off.
I had an upgrade so it wasn’t too cramped in my seat, which also was a window seat as the guy next to me was okay trading. Though it was the first row, so my pack was placed overhead as per the rules. Breakfast was tasty and was scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, granola, yogurt, and a croissant. Too much food as always, but I ate about half of it.
Then we traveled across the States and landed in Florida with a picturesque sunset. My friend picked me up and it was off to rehearsal. Yeah, lots to do. We went to the Edison and rehearsed for “Gangster.” It was fairly rough, so I will admit I was quite concerned, but I had faith in everyone.
I was also breaking my fast of three days. Well, that started in the morning, but I’d been eating carefully throughout the day as to not upset my stomach. I was also trying to limit calories still.
But back at the house, that went out the window as we had crackers and cheese and wine, etc. Yeah, fasting done for the moment. Also, either allergies or a cold was affecting me, but I wasn’t at 100% health. Nothing I could do about that.
