We relaxed in the morning. Jeff and John also were crashing at the house. Then it was off to the Edison for the show. I was playing a new role: Frankie. It was interesting as “Gangster” was my first mystery with GibsonHouse back in California in 2002. I had played two other roles and now it was the final male role, but also the hardest.
The venue was decked out in the most thorough setting we had ever had for this mystery. There were card tables in the place and whiskey tasting and a nice seating area for the “funeral.” Plus, there were old Model-T Fords parked out front. And most of the guests dressed up. Yeah, this was a fun one.
The show went great and everyone did well. Though it was a relief when it was finished. All the hard work had paid off and we could relax and focus on the next show, which was “Bingo,” a much easier role for me.
Back at the house, we relaxed and had some drinks. A fine ending to the day.
