Showtime! We headed over to the venue in the later afternoon and prepared for the show. It was the first showing of KO at Cape Cabaret, though not the first time my mystery was performed in Florida. Years before, someone I knew rented the show and performed it out there. It was nice to have it done, although I never actually got my royalty check from the people. But what can ya do?
After the show, we could all relax. The crowd was around 45 people and they seemed to have enjoyed it. We took photos and then cleaned up everything and headed home. At that point, it was drinks and snacks for all—the usual routine.
I did finally make a blog video that night and it was getting cold fast. But I was still able to survive in just a t-shirt. The nights would only get colder after that.
