So this trip starts on a Friday night. I bought an overnight flight to get out to New Orleans as that was the cheapest and kind of the best option. And I do like overnight flights better because, well, for no other reason, I don't have to wake up early, and that's kind of convenient.
This one was leaving at 11:15 p.m., so I had to get to the airport around 10:15pm. I took Uber ($50) to get there and the price wasn't too bad. But because it was late, I figured security would be fast. However, it was the opposite. A lot of the TSA lines were closed. So yeah, I had to wait a very long time in the security line and it just took forever. By the time I got to the gate, they were already boarding. So that was just something to keep in mind. It wasn't a problem. I was given an upgrade to first class, so the seat was comfortable, and the flight was nice.
Since it was overnight, there was no food. But we did get a drink and I tried to sleep. Actually, I think I did get about one or two hours of sleep, so that was nice.
