This was the pool party day. It’s quite simple: enjoy some drinks, chat with people, swim in the pool. Oh, yeah, and sing karaoke. So this was the second year for me. I slept in as long as possible and then joined the group. It was easier to get a song slot early in the day, but as more and more people showed up, well, the list of songs and singers grew fast.
I also had brought the drone so I got some great footage of the party from high up. I really need to use the darn thing more often. It can be quite fun to get shots from the air.
Once the party died down, we headed into town for food and drinks. The first stop was a pizza restaurant, which served pretty good pizza. I got a 360 shot there and some 360 video, though I had only brought one SD card for the camera, which would be a problem later.
Then it was off to a place called the Dogwood Bar. Pretty happening spot. We had some drinks and stayed a while. Finally, it was another bar where we got some food and yeah, more drinks. Then we headed home.
