Not sure when I went to bed, but I did sleep in quite a bit. The coffee maker could not be plugged in, so I had to rig it for a cup of coffee. This meant pouring hot water over the Keurig cup contents through a paper towel strainer. Not idea, but it did work.

There was only one thing planned for Wednesday. That was to see the show “Crazy for You.” In fact, it’s one of the reasons I chose to visit London in July. I purchased my ticket many weeks prior and for roughly $110, I had a really nice seat.

Reaching the theatre was easy since it was so close. Once inside, I opted for an overpriced beer before asking the price. It was way more than usual. Henceforth, I’ll check prices before ordering. Some places just go “crazy” on their charges. It’s a matter of principal more than money sometimes. But it was a decent beer. I didn’t get another one during intermission though.

The show was...awesome! It brought back some great memories of performing the lead role two decades prior. Everything was spot on from the principals to the ensemble to the sets and costumes. Just a terrific experience and a treat to see someone else perform it, which I’d never had the chance to do before. Though I guess I would have been pretty particular where I saw it if some company did want to put it on. But in London, it was guaranteed to be great. Money well spent.

After the show, there wasn’t much time left, so back to the flat I went. At 6pm or so, I had my first work meeting and I worked for the rest of the night.
