It was an early morning wake up at 6am. With only four hours of sleep, that meant for a tired traveler, but something I was well used to. I took Uber to the airport for a grand total of $57. It was a foggy morning indeed.
Happily, this flight did provide a first class upgrade. It was getting more and more rare towards the end of the year. I had a mimosa for a drink and a nice assortment of traditional breakfast foods: eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, and a croissant. Some tasty treats. There was a yogurt with fruit as well, but it wasn’t terribly good and I was getting full already anyway. Most of that went to waste.
The day of course was spent flying. I arrived in the evening at Fort Myers airport and my friend and fellow actor Tony was already there since his flight from SFO had landed 30 minutes prior. We waited a short time and Serena came to pick us up.
For the evening, we all just watched some shows and relaxed. Nothing too exciting.
