This trip would be a little unusual since I was flying up on a Wednesday evening, but it was for Elaine's high school graduation, and that was on a Thursday.
I drove out to Oakland airport and parked in the daily parking. My flight had been upgraded to first class, and I had a nice window seat, so I got great views of the sunset plus the Golden Gate bridge as we flew by. I ordered and Anchor Brewing IPA for my drink and got a plate of grapes, apples, crackers, cheese, and a piece of chocolate.
Up in the Pacific Northwest, the sunset was providing a lot of god rays coming out of the clouds, so I was able to get some cool pictures of that. Mount Rainier was also bathed in sunlight and looked exceptionally impressive that evening. Once I exited at SeaTac, my friends came by and picked me up and drove me to Bellevue.
