Travel Diary

It was actually my second time heading to the airport on that Monday. This time I had to take the train since I couldn't be parking that long. But I did take Lyft to the stadium train station. It's funny because I often select the cheaper option, which has potentially longer waiting time, but this car was pretty much 100 yards down the street because it arrived right away.

At Stadium the train also came right away, and I was off to SeaTac airport. I checked my bag at the American Airlines counter. Then I had some free time so I headed up to the parking garage roof where it was nice to make some videos and enjoy the cool fresh air for a little while. Then it was time for security, which was incredibly fast.

I headed over to my gate and waited for the plane to board. There was no reason to board early, so I waited until the end and then got on the plane. I had no upgrade because it was an American and my seat was rather tight, but at least it was the aisle. It was a decent flight east and hours later we arrived in Charlotte North Carolina. Also, I didn't have Internet on the flight because I wasn't on Alaska so it was back to the old days. At Charlotte, it was morning and the next day.
