For this trip, I headed out on a Saturday evening. The Uber price was only $45, which was a discount compared to usual. My flight was also upgraded to first class. We left around 8pm.
No meal was served since it was a quick flight. In Boise, I arrived late and grabbed an Uber to my parent’s house for about $50. I slept quickly once I arrived.
Saturday
For Saturday, it was a relaxing day. In the late afternoon, we met Andy, Merit and Tanner at Top Golf. It was my first time playing there and really, it was the first time swinging a club for anything other than miniature golf. It actually went pretty well and was quite fun. The simulated game is Angry Birds, which is rather amusing when combined with golf.
After that, it was back to the house for some Yahtzee.
Sunday
Some snow fell early in the morning, which was fun to see. I had yet to experience any snow in Seattle for the season, and that’s fine. I guess they have more snow in Idaho.
We ventured out to look at model homes and there were some impressive units as always. Then it was over to a small winery for a quick wine-tasting. Back home, we played more games, mostly Scrabble.
Monday
It was a relaxing day with some game playing and relaxing.
Tuesday
I headed home on an early flight. I didn’t have the upgrade this time. I guess all the seats sold out. That can happens since the prices are very low, although again, such a short flight. Does not make sense to pay for such an upgrade ever.
In Seattle, it was sold and raining. The Uber quote was $71 and I think that’s the highest I’ve ever seen it for such a short trip. I quickly passed on that and took the link train home.
