With nothing solid planned, I was able to sleep in until about 9:30am. When Serena got home, we all went for a drive.
The first stop was Nevermind, the bar she once worked at. That was our spot for lunch and beer. I just had a Guinness since I’d eaten not long before (leftover pizza), but they brought out a few items for each of us, so I of course could not refuse. All good food, but I was already a bit full, and I do like to avoid eating whenever full.
After that, it was a drive to the Cape Coral beach to get some beers at a bar on the coast. There, I just had water. I’d had my fill at that point. We all relaxed on cozy chairs for a spell and watched the ocean. They said they saw a dolphin when I was in the restroom. Pity I missed that. Only animal I saw was a seagull, but it did make for a decent photo.
I played in the gulf for a few minutes and we then returned to the house. After that, it was a movie or tv show and then the others crashed. I had more energy that night, so I made a video or two on the back porch. The weather was great—t-shirts and shorts. I had to relish it since 24 hours later, I’d be in 40-degree weather again.
