Since we had performed the show before, and only two months prior, there was no need to have a rehearsal in the late morning, so we would only be having a call around 5 PM. This meant getting to sleep in, which was nice. I arose late in the morning and most of the afternoon was spent relaxing and perhaps studying some lines for the show that evening. Around 4 PM we headed over to the Cape Cabaret, where we would be doing the show in their lounge – a nice change of pace, since the main ballroom is a bit large. Luckily, we got our nice green room again as it serves us quite well. And we set everything up for the show.

Other actors soon arrived, and we did the usual: work on lines, discuss blocking, and get into a costume. I wasn't in the first scene, so that was a nice break for me, but then I entered for the rest of the show, and everything went quite well. It was a great audience, and despite a few mistakes here and there, nothing went completely off the rails. We took photos after the show and then got to relax. I played a role I hadn't done in maybe a decade, so I was probably a little rough at it. It's the kind of thing that if you do repeatedly, it definitely gets much easier. But I don't know when the next time I'll do the role. Maybe 10 more years.

After the show, we headed back to the bar again. I wanted to see if Jessica had returned. She had not. Most disappointing. This time for a beer I just got a 4-ounce selection of their strongest option--again only 4 ounces. We didn't stay there very long and then headed home. We chatted for a little bit, but everyone was exhausted, and we all crashed rather early. Early being around 1 AM I suppose.
