The next morning, we headed over to the Edison restaurant for our rehearsal. It was a nice place at a golf course, and tables were set up and ready to go. We blocked our scenes and got situated, and then went back home to rest for a little while, and return to the evening.
The show was “Murder by Bingo” and I had done it quite a few times back in California, the last time being many years prior. But we had rehearsed for months over Zoom and were ready for it. Serena, the owner, was quite nervous, as this was her first show. She sometimes performs, but for this one, she was going to just observe and help stage manage. Everyone did a great job and the audience seemed to really like the show. But after it was done, I could tell that people were a lot more at ease. And the owner now had one show under her belt--with more to come.
We then went back to her house and had some wine and relaxed. I went to bed quite late, even though I had to get up early in the morning.
