The next morning, we were greeted with a nice note on a napkin and coffee and snacks. Nice way to start the day, though I went easy on the snacks. I can’t go crazy eating on vacations since I travel so often. We then headed to the Cabaret for rehearsal. It was our first time doing “Gangster” there. There were many props to organize, and there was even a huge coffin, something we have not used in the show for many years (an urn was usually substituted) but the venue I guess had a coffin, so we put it to use. The rehearsal was challenging to get through; however, soon we had it all sorted out and headed home for a few hours of rest.
Around 4pm, we headed back over and had our mic check. Then it was time for the crowd to show up. It was a fairly large crowd, which was nice to see, especially since we were using mics for the show. The performance went great and afterwards, we could finally relax.
Our next stop was heading to a bar and having some drinks. The entire cast showed up and we stayed a while, but then headed to a wine bar, which was actually adjacent to the place. There, we could sit and chat in a much quieter spot. Afterwards, it was back to the house.
There was still some wine to be consumed and snacks to eat. I spent some time in the back patio and recorded a short video. The cat mittens hung out as well. Then I crashed for the night.
