Very fast trip to Hawai'i

    Monday wasn’t a holiday for me, so I had my laptop and was ready to work. This meant starting around 6am since we were three hours behind. It’s definitely more fun to work remotely on the east coast, but I was prepared for this and got enough rest.

    It was tough though since outside was just such a nice day. I took a photo out the window and then worked for several hours. I did finally have to check out, so I packed up and headed to the beach. No time or opportunity for swimming, but I did take off the shoes and walked along the beach a while. It was incredibly windy but otherwise, just perfect weather.

    Being somewhat hungry, I did find a fast food place to get a snack. Then after walking a ways farther, I grabbed an Uber and headed to the airport.

    At the airport, it was a wait for the flight. I got a Whopper Jr. there and marveled at the price, but it’s expected at the airport, and since inflation is way up lately. Then it was time for the long flight home. A fast trip, but I earned 5,000 EQM and didn’t have to use up any holiday.

    Worth it? Um, I guess so.
