Travel Diary

This vacation started from another vacation. I had been in Florida to do a dinner show and figured I would just have another short vacation in NYC afterwards, since I was already on the west coast. I simply flew from Fort Myers into JFK. The flight was on JetBlue, however, so I got no miles from it, nor any upgrade. I bought economy; I flew economy. But it was only $145, so not expensive.

I had arrived very late and it was already Tuesday when I checked in at the Comfort Inn near JFK. It was $384 for two nights, and for NYC, that’s a good price. I stayed for the night and headed into Manhattan the next morning.
