We slept in a bit and then walked to the downtown area, which was nice and close. I noticed the sidewalks were snow covered in some areas. In general, the neighborhood had a very nice small-town feeling to it and probably was wonderful in the summertime. The house was also across the street from a cemetery, so noisy neighbors were never a problem. The downtown area in Coeur d'Alene is adjacent to the lake, and filled with great shops and restaurants.
One thing we want to try out was Hudsons Hamburgers, which was incredibly highly recommended. Of course many other people wanted to try that out as well, so it took quite some time for us to get our hamburgers, though we were able to walk around and explore the area during the wait. Once we got our burgers, we returned home, and I tried one and found it wasn't anything special. I'm sometimes amazed that places get such reviews. Now, it wasn't bad by any means. It just didn't excel all other hamburgers.
We then played some board games and hung out and relax for a while. It was a nice calm evening.
