I slept in...well, at least until 10am since that was football kickoff time. I checked Redzone, but no games were on. Strange. Ah, the answer was that we were no longer in PST. The games would not start until noon. Nice. More time to rest.
The first adventure was breakfast. We found a cool place that resembled a jungle. We all pretty much ordered what the people next to us recommended. They were from Vancouver. I forget the name, though it started with “quin..” I really need to start taking photos of the menus, so I know what I ordered in case it’s good and I want to get it in the future. It was a fine meal, although the day was a bit rainy. In fact, thundershowers were scheduled for the entire trip. No matter. I only dislike rain when it’s cold rain. If it’s not cold, bring it on.
Afterwards, we walked directly across the street, for there was a bar that was showing NFL games. Nice. This would be my spot for the day. Granted, there were multiple TV’s but only one game showing—a mixed blessing. The others stayed for a while, but then took off. I was there most of the day and evening, slowly sipping light beer, watching football, and chatting with others doing the same. Once Terry got back, we hit a Tostada place down the street along with some people we met at the bar. Pretty good food.
