I slept in as long as I could, but then it was time to awaken. I guess it was over eight hours, so that was acceptable. I enjoyed a coffee and biscotti and showered for the last time there. My pack was ready to go, so I did some flight research. Serena’s neighbor dropped by and we chatted for a while. Then it was the drive over to the airport. The drive went faster than expedited, so i went over to the gazebo area and recorded a video. I then headed to security.

Security had almost no line, so that was only about two minutes long. I sat for a little while, and then boarded in the second group. Once again, it was American, so no upgrade. My seat was decent though as I had selected an exit row. We took off and headed northeast. Oh, and while the flight wasn’t terribly small, I noticed the first class only had eight seats.

The food service was light. I just got complementary cookies. Booze didn’t appear to be free (since I noticed someone in front of me giving her credit card) so I just asked for water. I used up the free WIFI rather quickly (20 minutes per device) and then spent the rest of the time doing some writing.

The layover went nicely. I spent time walking around and seeing the many art exhibits at the airport. I thought it was my first time there (Philly), but after recognizing a hallway with LED pillars, I knew I’d been there at least one time prior. In time, I wandered over to my boarding gate. The food was tempting, but I knew I would be getting a meal on the plane. No need to waste money.

Once onboard, I found my seat in first class, 2D. I had many choices a few days before and could have selected a window, but at night there really isn’t much point, and the aisle offers easier access to the bathroom.

We left on time and after reaching cruising, I ordered a red wine and whatever dinner I had selected days before. It was a decent meal I guess. Then we landed at SeaTac and I took the Link train home. I did exit at Stadium and took an Uber from there. Probably not worth it, but I didn’t want to walk a half mile with my bags. Finally, back home again.
