Travel Diary

Ah, showtime. We met with Karel and John, and drove over to the lodge in the late afternoon. Then it was a long time of setting up for the show. So much to do. Other actors arrived and we rehearsed some. For this show, we had our own three mikes and two venue mikes so everyone had a microphone. Nice benefit of these larger venues. It was also the first time the Florida cast had done “Funeral for a Gangster” in a year.

It was a mental workout to be sure, as my role was larger than usual, so I was exhausted after we finished. I also was asked to do the closing awards, which are fun to do, but also more work and energy. Then it was time to pack things up, which obviously took a fair amount of time as well.

We drove home and just relaxed with some food and beer. After that, it was time for some Netflix.
