It was the day I was heading home, but at least it wasn't too early in the morning. The afternoon flights are much nicer. So I got to sleep in a little bit and enjoy the morning and the beautiful weather. Then around noon, we had to takeoff. The first stop was to return the karaoke system as it played loud static even when the volume was turned down. I guess it was just sort of broken. But I couldn't have that. I had ordered a new one and it had already arrived and the problem didn't occur on that one so I knew I just gotten it defective unit. Luckily it was free returns so I had it returned to Amazon.

After that, we headed over to the airport and I said goodbye to Serena and headed in. I checked my bag with American Airlines and then went to the gazebo outside. There was one person in it so my videos were a little spoiled as I like having the whole place to myself, which I often do. But I made a couple short recordings, and then went inside. Security was almost no one and that was welcome. I did succumb to temptation and grab a bagel, and then headed to my gate.

There was no hurry so I boarded last, and was soon on my flight to Dallas. I was still in economy, but I had selected an exit row and it had vast amount of legroom—like there was an entire chair missing. It was quite roomy, and making it even nicer was the fact that no one was in the middle seat either so very comfortable flight.

In Dallas, I had another layover so I walked around a bit. I was hoping for an upgrade, but none came. Finally I got on my next flight to Seattle. Again I had the exit row with a lot of legroom, and soon I was in Seattle.

It was cold once again, so I of course put on my bubble jacket. I did have to go to the baggage carousel and wait for my bag. It took quite some time, which was a bit surprising, though I did have my AirTag on it. It seemed like it was still in Dallas, but I guess it just had not updated yet. When it finally came out, I was quite happy. Overall, American had done a fine job on the trip. If nothing goes wrong, they're a great airline—or at least satisfactory one.

Then I walked to the station and waited for the train to arrive. The signs were broken, so I had no idea when they would be coming, but only took about five minutes. Uber or Lyft would've been about $75 so there was no way I was doing that. I pondered getting off at Stadium Station and taking Uber home from there but the price was over $25 and it seemed like a waste of money. I rode the train all the way to Capitol Hill station got off there and then just walked home. I was once again back in my condo.
