Since my flight was at 12:30 PM, I didn't have to worry about waking up very early; however, I still was up around 7 AM. This, of course meant I had a lot of time to get ready, which was a nice treat. One unexpected thing was some street repaving going on, as that meant many people could not leave their driveways, and that would include me. Though, it didn't seem impossible to leave – just not a very good idea. If anything, I could've probably gotten my vehicle over the excavation in the ground. But no matter, I wasn't going to be taking my car. I was going to be taking Uber since it was only about $45 to get to the airport, and it would be a three-day trip, so it would be much cheaper than trying to park in SeaTac for $37 per day.

TSA took about eight minutes which was longer than usual, but I guess it was the weekend and many people were traveling. I still had plenty of time to get over the N-gat, and wait for my plane. I decided to board last since I didn't need overhead space. One thing about this flight was that I would not be getting an upgrade because there was only one unsold first class seat, and it was already given away to someone with more status than I had. Oh well. There were eight seats still and sold on the way back so I had a pretty good chance of getting upgraded then. At least I hoped.

This was a direct flight to Florida. I had a window seat, and the person next to me was a young boy, so he didn't take up very much room. While I didn't get a meal, I did of course got my free drink of scotch since I was MVP. I also brought along a burrito to eat later in the flight, but I was ending a fast, so I wanted to be careful about how much I ate.

For this flight, I actually did subscribe to Wi-Fi since it was daytime and I could get a few things done. Mainly, I did some Midjourney art, and I also played around Duolingo. The boy next to me was curious about the AI art, so I shared some of the potential of the new technology with him and he seemed fascinated by this.

We landed in the evening around 9 PM. I had to take Uber over to Cape Coral to meet my friend Serena. We then headed over to a wine bar as they were having a special deal on white flights. They were charging five dollars for a tasting and that was a pretty good price. However, we tried all four flights, and the wines were not very good, which perhaps explained the cheap price. No point in buying any of the glasses, so we headed next-door to another bar which had a few people in it. I tried some of their very strong beers and even though I only had two, they packed a punch. I also had a nice conversation with the beautiful blonde lady next to me named Jessica. She was quite fun to talk to. After that we headed back home.

Those two drinks definitely went to my head, so it wasn't very long before I was crashed. It has been a long day of traveling.
