It was a day of sightseeing. The first stop was a large iron bridge over a river. The sight was great for photos and to appreciate the raw power of the river. Then we headed a winery with a great view as gazebo was built near a vast gorge. However, the winery was not open for the season at the time. They still allowed us to take some photos of the gazebo and area, which was nice of them.

We headed to another winery, which was very busy, but they were open. Luckily, we got some seats and ordered some flights. The pours were … well, ridiculously big. I mean like 3/4 a glass per pour. And there were four of them, so yeah, way too much wine for a tasting. I mean, thanks and all that, but it’s just a peculiar thing to do.

Next stop was a little quaint bar restaurant where we had a late lunch. I got a cup of chili and a Guinness. A great combo!

Back at the house, we played Scrabble until late. My letters were not too favorable to me, but you can’t win them all.
