In the morning I checked out, but still had several hours before my flight. I decided that since I had the time, I could do a little bit of walking, and I would just walk towards the airport. That said, it was three hours away so there was no way I was going to be able to get there before my flight. But I would walk for a while and then take Uber the rest of the way.
It was raining off and on, and I didn't have an umbrella so that wasn't ideal, but I did get to see some of the downtown Santa Rosa area, which included the Schultz museum. I mean I only passed by, and I didn't have time to go in it, but I made a mental note to visit there in the future. At some point I finally did summon Uber, and got a ride to the airport.
I had to wait a little while for my flight at this very small airport. Unfortunately, I didn't get a first class upgrade, but again it was a very short flight. We soon took off and were headed home.
Upon arriving, one treat was some great views of downtown Seattle, so I took some pictures. It's funny that as much as I fly into Seattle, I don't often get to see great views of the downtown—probably due to the weather. But I was home again and done with that very fast trip.
