I had not visited Seattle in June too many times, but it is quite nice that time of year. The weather is unbeatable. No rain. Warm air. Light wind in the trees. It’s divine.

The purpose of this visit was mainly Brianna’s high school graduation. The ceremony was nice, but we had also volunteered for being chaperones for their grad night party. And what a LONG night that was. The day started in the morning and then graduation in the early evening, and then heading to the school, followed by a bus trip to some activity center, and finally a club where the music was deafening. And I course did not have my earplugs with me. It was a LONG night. I said that before, but just a reminder.

Around 4am, they had a hypnotist for the last section, so the music was gone. But yeah, so tired. They wrapped up around 6am and I finally got to get some sleep. I’d been awake over 24 hours.

I did manage to get some earplugs that I could keep full-time in my wallet after that trip. Lesson learned. Always be prepared.

The rest of the trip was less hectic and I headed home to return to work again.
