Travel Diary

I had an evening flight, which are more preferred to early morning flights, although I guess the best time is really mid afternoon (after the rush ends). But this would work fine, and since I didn't know if I would be working by then or not, so it was safer to fly out Friday night. I drove down to the airport, and parked at the nearby parking lot. Security was quick and I had my TSA Touchless again, and this time there was only one person in front of me so it was faster than TSA pre-check. Boarding went nicely and I had a seat in first class. I picked the left side of the plane since it was the single row layout. Soon we took off and we're headed for Boise.

When we arrived in Boise, my parents arrived to pick me up and I drove the car back to their house. It's about a half hour to get to Middleton, Idaho, which isn't too bad. It's like driving from Pleasanton to Oakland. Well, maybe a little longer than that.

Back at the house, I was pretty tired and it was very late, so I just went to bed quickly.
