Another reason I got to bed so early, was that I had a 4 AM wake up. I got ready fast and then took Uber over to the airport. The security line was extremely light, and didn't take long at all. I had received an upgrade, so I would be sitting in first class on the way back. After boarding, we took off and headed north.

I ordered the same meal as last time, since I liked it. Although someone next to me had a bagel and a bagel, and it actually smelled really good. Maybe next time I'll get that. Soon, we landed in Seattle and I walked over to the parking lot. My car was still there and the battery was still dead. I used my portable charger, and it started up fine, but then I realized I had something in my glove box that I needed to unlock, so I had to turn off the car to unlock the glove box. And then the car battery was still dead, so it didn't start. Thus, I had to get out the charging unit again and pop the hood, and start it once more. This time I let it run.

I paid for the parking ($95) and then headed north. There was a lot of traffic, so Google Maps had me taking these side streets to avoid the traffic jams on I-5. And then a nice little blessing—I passed an AutoZone store. I pulled into there and checked on the price of a battery. They had batteries for over $200, but I said I likely wouldn't have a car very long, so they showed me one for about $115 or so, which was perfect. Since the car was there, I asked to borrow a tool, and then went out and took out my battery, and put in the new one. I then brought my battery inside. This would allow me to get my core charge refund right away and not have to worry about disposing of my former battery. This all worked really well aside from the fact that I didn't have the right clothes to be working on the car or any gloves, and I even broke a little part in a radiator inlet, which had to be fixed later because it was spilling coolant. Fun times. But at least the battery problem was solved. I then drove home.
