I slept in for quite some time, and then Jim contacted me and wanted to go walking. My legs were a little sore, but they also felt like they could do another day of long walking, and plus we could just Uber back if either of us got too sore. We first walked along the 680 creek trail and then over to Noah's bagels where I had my first bagel in a few years. It was great to try one again. Most of the time the store is just closed by the time I get over there. I think they close around 2 PM most days. Then again, I save on money and calories that way.

We then walked the Arroyo Mocho trail and headed east towards Livermore, then south a bit on Isabel, and then back west on Stanley Boulevard. Legs were getting sore. Blisters had bandaids but they only helped so much. In Pleasanton, we found the Arroyo Mocho trail again and headed towards the 680 freeway and then back to the hotel. Unfortunately, my Garmin watch had died, but it read about 17 miles at that point. I figured we walked about 20 miles for the day. It was some good exercise. 44 miles in two days. Perhaps a new record for me.

I bid farewell to Jim and then headed into the hotel to enjoy my pot pie and some wine. First a long bath though. It was a great day.
