Sunday morning was an early wake up. I think I rose around 6 AM to get ready although I was already packed. I passed on the coffee and tried to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything. During a last-minute check I found I was missing my charger and charging cable so that was a close call.

I wanted to make sure we had plenty of time to get to the airport and through security since it had been so bad on Tuesday. However, it was Sunday morning very early and the roads were pretty much empty. Still it's a great time to fly home. Serena dropped me off at the airport and I passed on my usual gazebo recording so I could get right to security. There was actually no line in front of me, or maybe two people.

Inside the airport it was definitely a little more crowded. I stood in the bagel line since I had time to kill and a bagel sounded pretty good. Plus, I hadn't had one in a while. It was about five dollars and I suppose that was a fair deal. And it came with cream cheese, well sort of. They include too little cream cheese packets, so not quite the same but fair enough. It definitely doesn't compare to Noah's Bagels. The airport was getting pretty full and I definitely saw a lot of of people going on spring break as they were families with their kid

There would be no upgrade to first class since all the seats were full and I was in 15th place. Yeah those flights are very difficult to get upgraded. They just don't have very many flights from Seattle to Fort Myers. I had selected a window seat this time figuring I could take some photos. We took off a little late and soon we're flying west. Since my sobriety year was over, I ordered an old-fashioned which I hadn't had in a long time and I had my bagel for food. I guess it was my first liquor in a year. It did give a little bit of a buzz.

For most of the flight I watched some movies that the airline provided. It was decent entertainment. I didn't really get any sleeping done, but that was fine. I had slept about seven hours the night before.

We landed in Seattle and the warm weather was gone. It was about 40°. I headed towards the LINK train and checked Uber prices. It was quite shocking as the price was down to $45. Very rare to see! That was pretty tempting but as always, the train was three dollars and throwing away $40 just didn't make any sense as that money could be better spent elsewhere. As I got close to the train platform, the sign said two minutes until the train came. I decided to go for it. With one minute, there's just not enough time but with two minutes, it's possible so I sprinted. But I was also carrying the backpack and my suitcase so that weight and the cold air were not good for my lungs at all.

I reached the stair escalator and was pretty tired but hauled it up there and the train had arrived and opened but I sprinted inside with probably five seconds to spare. It was an extremely close! However, my lungs did not like that at all. I was out of breath for about five minutes, but also had this ache and a bit of a cough from the episode. Yeah, it's not a wise thing to do if you're not used to it.

The train headed into the city and soon enough I was at Capitol Hill Station and walked home from there. My Florida trip was over and I had zero flights scheduled on the calendar. This was the first in a very long time.
