I woke up before my alarm on Sunday morning and prepared my espresso in the hotel room. Without a microwave, I had to rely on the hot water from the coffee maker, which wasn't particularly great but close enough. So it turned out all right and fun to do. I got prepared and then Kalaine came by and picked me up and we went out for coffee. There was a nice little coffee shop not too far away and we spent an hour or two there just catching up. I stuck with a black coffee. Then it was time to get to the airport. She dropped me off and I went through security, which was very fast as usual.
I found Levi there, who was working on his computer. We chatted a bit and then I caught my flight back to Seattle. I had been upgraded to first class, which was nice and unexpected. I got some snacks on the flight and my usual coffee and we soon landed in Seattle where I took the link train home. It was incredibly crowded due to people coming from a Mariners game or something. At least they were all wearing that paraphernalia.. I also noticed that, as usual, even when elderly people got on most young people didn't bother standing up and giving them their seat. People are just obtuse these days or simply don't care enough about the needs of others. Just a sign of the times I guess. At Capital Hill, I got out and walked home making a detour at QFC to purchase some food items.
