Travel Diary

We had a relaxing day as we opted to see a show in the evening at the Cultural Park Theatre. They were playing “Sweeney Todd.”

It was a show I’d only seen once about 10 years ago, though I knew the music somewhat OK. The Theatre was not terribly large, but the seats were incredibly comfortable. If there's one thing, I'll remember about the Theatre. It's those wonderful seats. For the show, I think they had a difficult time with the challenge of all of the music. There was no orchestra and I will say they did a great job at timing the soundtrack but I think the singing was just too much out of the range to really be pulled off effectively. It's just a show that can be quite difficult to cast and execute. But I guess A for effort. After that, we went home and watched more “Staircase” murders. The next day would be incredibly busy.
