I slept in until 10:30am, enjoying the nice weather. Then since I had hours to kill, I decided to tan a little outside and listen to Redzone. It was a fine experience, though I wasn’t used to lying out in the warm sun so I wasn’t too comfy. In time, Tenaya returned home and then Levi and Dawn paid a visit. I took the opportunity to shower and shave.
Then some of us headed over to the Spaghetti Factory early. We were going to use the extra time to work on the new script; however, the time was mainly used for setting up for the evening show. Just a whole lot to do. I hadn’t eaten in 24 hours (since the pizza the previous day) so I was a tad hungry. I was reluctant to spend a lot of money for food, though a nearby Chipotle sounded awesome. Yet, Dawn had an extra salad so I had that. But the break in eating did upset my stomach a little bit. Usually doesn’t happen, but also could be because of the sun tanning earlier. It passed in time.
Then it was show time. The show was “A Very Victorian Murder,” which we did about nine months prior. The crowd was a little small, but the space didn’t feel too empty. Everything went smoothly and the audience seemed to have a great experience. We spent time taking photos afterwards and packing up. The show has a lot of props so this took some time. Then we headed north.
I got dropped off in Pleasanton at the Larkspur Hotel, where I’d stayed about five times prior. It was about 9:52pm, but I had just enough time to run over to the local supermarket (Smart and Final) to buy some candy and food. The store isn’t great. Just a lot of overpriced foods and weird selections of products. But I still grabbed a few things to eat.
Then it was back to the hotel room to take some videos and use my laptop for a while. I slept around midnight.
