Travel Diary

On Sunday morning, Jennifer had invited us to go to her church service, where she was playing the piano, and I really did want to go. But after getting to bed at 6 a.m., there was no way I could get up at ten a am if I didn't have to. So unfortunately I had to miss it. Next time. For the afternoon, we drove up to a nice wilderness and picnic area, where there's this place called the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. It's a museum for just one artist who had created quite a few works during his time. In fact, he may even be still alive. I didn't look up the guy, But the top floor has this big open chapel where there's a lot of paintings in there.

It's not really a chapel, but I guess kind of looks like it. And maybe they do some interesting things there, but overall some cool art to see. Mainly just one style. But he does a good job of it. Then we went outside and had a nice picnic.

Again, I had to pass on the wine, but it was still fun. Some of us then went for a walk on the Wisdom Trail and enjoyed some of the nice nature creations that had been made out in the park. One even included some wood shaped like humans doing various things. And then we got to see a very nice view of a field in the sky. Again, it was the perfect time of year. A few other things included a very tiny labyrinth and a gazebo. And then it was back to the picnic.

After some more time there, we drove back and enjoyed the fire for another evening. This time I actually got to bed around 3 a.m.
