I had to get up earlier on Monday as we were heading over to Horseshoe Bend for lunch. Merit and Tanner met up with us there and we had food and drinks (Diet Coke for me). And just a side of grilled veggies too. Then we returned to Andy’s home to play a round of Camel Races again. Finally, it was time to go.
Dad took me to the airport and I checked my paddle board. I had been upgraded to first class, though with such a fast flight, no meal is offered. The upgrade makes little difference on that short of a flight—especially if you don’t drink alcohol.
Back in Seattle, I claimed my bag (box actually) and walked to the parking lot. It was quite a workout since the paddle board does weigh a fair amount. My back would be sore a few days after that. But once at my car, I had a nice drive back home.
