Travel Diary

We went downtown to visit the Pig’N Pancake in the morning. Odd place for me since i’m not a fan of pancakes, but I had some crepes instead. Not bad at all. We then popped into a brewery that used to be a movie theatre. They still used it for showing sports though

Afterwards, it was time to hit the beach. The weather was nice though not terribleywwarn. Definitely no swimming for that day. But we relaxed on the beach for a while as the tide went out. I mean it really went out, like hundreds of yards back. I looked around in the wet sand for anything cool, but found nothing of note. It was a relaxing day.

In the late afternoon, we headed north to Astoria to do a hike. The hiking out there is awesome during the summer, though pretty much what you’d get in Washington too. The trail led to a wonderful vista with a great tower to climb and take photos from. I didn’t fly the drone, which was good since I saw a sign saying no drones anyway.



Dinner was in town at a rooftop terrace, which was fun, but certainly got cold after some time. I tried to at least stay in the sunlight as long as possible. Food was a burger and fries but alas, no beer, which was quite tempting. Then back to Seaside.
