Travel Diary

This is a driving trip, but still a vacation. It’s the annual Memorial Day trip with my friends Terry and Lesly. We opted to head down to Oregon for a few days. It was a nice change since we often just do the Folk Festival each season otherwise. The drive was a little long, but we were in no hurry. we drove through Washington and into Oregon and then into a town called Seaside, Oregon. It’s a nice town with a coastal feeling to it.


Visiting downtown, we found an excellent pizza place, where it was on par with Round Table. Highly recommend the place if you’re in town. Alas, no beer for me, so not quite the full pizza experience, but still quite good. After that, we visited a fun wine place with live music. No wine for me, though I looked at some of the cool wines on sale.Then we explored a bit and headed back. I checked out the beach which was close to the rental. It featured a wonderful sunset that evening.
