Another early morning flight. Well, it was 8am, but that meant getting up at 6am and heading out at 6:30am. We saw a nice sunrise on the way to RSW, and I was soon heading to security, which was LONG! I’d never seen the line so long there. I guess it’s a popular time to be heading out. The non-preCheck line was insane. I would bet they were waiting 45 minutes there. Risky way to catch a flight. PreCheck was about 20 minutes, so I wasn’t risking my flight.
No upgrade for me on this flight. I was 10th in line and zero first class seats were left unsold. I did get to board early though. That as nice as I wasn’t checking my bag. I had an aisle seat and that helped. Got no meal, but did get drinks a few times. Like usual, one never knows how strict the rules were to be enforced, but they served booze all three times when drinks were offered. Sometimes they only allow one liquor option.
I wasn’t tired, so I either read or played on the computer as I purchased the WIFI pass for the flight. It wasn’t the longest time, but definitely was tiring.
In Seattle, it was cold once gain. I went quickly to the train station and took Link home. From Capital Hill, it was a nice walk back to the condo, where I promptly went to sleep.
