Travel Diary

It was beach day! Serena and I picked up John, Corrine, John’s friend Rob, and drove to Bonita Beach. The weather was nice (at first) with the drive not being too long. At the beach, it was WINDY! And a little cold. Yeah, it was still February after all.

We set up a beach area and then some went for drinks at the nearby bar, and others went for a walk. I went into the ocean as it’s something I seldom get to do these days. The water was cool at first, but I got used to it fast. The waves were also not terribly aggressive. I spent a fair amount of time out there getting some wonderful exercise. It would have been nice to have goggles and fins, but maybe next time. (And hotter weather!)

Yeah, the weather wasn’t hot enough for tanning, or rather the sun was already heading downward. But it turned out to be a nice sunset and great for photos and a drone flight. Then it was the drive back home.

We made some spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread. A fine meal, compete with a little red wine.
