Travel Diary

Thankfully, my flight home wasn't too early, but it was still a 9:50 AM flight, which meant getting up around 6:45 AM. We drove to the airport around 7:30, and I had a little extra time, so I recorded some videos in the gazebo and then headed to the gates. Security (TSA PreCheck) was fast as usual.

I had about 20 minutes to board but with about ten minutes left, they suddenly started boarding, so I quickly got on the plane and grabbed my first class seat, as it was the first row, which meant storing my bags overhead, and then I rested there until takeoff.

I just ordered water to start with, and we soon had our breakfasts served. Mine was some egg frittata, roll, fruit, and yogurt, which was okay, although I wasn't terribly hungry. After that, I mainly just slept for a while and then got a double scotch as we got close to landing. I mean, I did want to have one nice drink in first class.

After landing, I noticed how crazy cold it was once again once I reached the sky bridge. For kicks, I checked the Uber and Lyft prices and saw their ridiculous quotes, so I walked to the train station and caught the train home. It took about an hour, and then I walked the rest of the way finally reaching my condo. The long dinner show vacation was over.
