Travel Diary

This was an odd event. You see, we had a situation where an actor called about an hour before the show, and said he could not do the show and that he was having a panic attack. Realistically, he was either too nervous, or did not know his lines (which made him nervous), but no matter, Serena filled in for his role. Not sure that has ever happened before. But I guess it’s always a risk with newer actors that have not done a lot of performing. At any rate, it’s a story to tell for many years.

We drove to the show and parked in the hotel parking garage, which was a really good deal considering the prices of nearby lots. All our stuff was left from the night before, so that made it easy. For this show, we had a lot more people and it went rather well. One cool thing was the green room which was normally a conference room. It had a large table and a mirror. The staff left plenty of food and soda and water. They treated us well.

Once done, we loaded up the car and drove home and met up with a couple of actors who were performing in another dinner show gig that evening. Their mystery went exceptionally well too. Two shows in one night—a first for GibsonHouse Florida.
