Travel Diary

We were doing our first show at the Luminary Hotel. But first, we visited Sasha at work and had a little Vietnamese food. To reach the venue, we took Uber since traffic would be bad. Not sure how happy the Uber driver was having to drive all the props, but I did thank her in Spanish, so I am sure that made it all worthwhile.

The hotel had our green room on the fourth floor, though the show was in a room off the lobby. The venue was quite different than usual and the performance space was essentially built as a classroom for cooking classes, but it was still a fun place to perform and it was nice having all the guests facing the performance area. One snafu was the gun not firing. I guess all the blanks had been used up. Oops. Have to ensure that is checked pre-show in the future.

After the show, we returned home and watched some shows and ate and drank a bit. It was a fun and filled day.
