Travel Diary

This was an incredibly early morning as my flight was 6:30 AM. I had scheduled an Uber to pick me up at 5 AM so I got up at 4 AM to prepare. I also discovered that it would've been about $12 cheaper if I had not pre-scheduled it, but it was too late to change it.

After getting to the airport, I noticed that security was a little longer than normal, though still only about 10 minutes. I then found my gate and waited for the flight. For this flight, I had elected to pay for the first class upgrade since I thought I would be getting miles for it, but it turned out. I was mistaken (well, ChatGPT was mistaken) so the $40 was sort of wasted, even though I didn't get the free meal and early boarding. I just won't do that again.

The flight went fairly well and the breakfast was quite simple but okay.. I did have an old-fashioned because I wanted one final drink. After landing in Seattle, I observed how terribly cold it was once again this time of year, but I had my coat and scarf and cap. I took the train all the way to Capital Hill station and I walked home from there.
