I suppose I got to “sleep in” for a change since my flight was late in the morning. That meant getting up at 8 AM and leaving around 9 AM. I took the train after taking Uber to stadium station, which I was severely overcharged for. I had been quoted $22 and they charged me $37. I guess it's because I suggested a shorter route. At least it was shorter in time. Anyway I'll never do that again. And it will essentially kill all tips for some time. Yeah, I was not happy.

At the airport, I went up to the top of the garage for a quick video and then went through security. The flight was delayed about 45 minutes, which was annoying since they didn't give us very good updates, but it's fairly common for most airlines these days.

Originally, I was going to need to take BART to Pleasant Hill, but my friend Tenaya, who was in the show, offered me a ride. I accepted. I also gave her $20 for the extra hassle of picking me up. We drove to Lafayette first so she could drop off her son and then headed to Pleasant Hill. I was starving since I didn't get an upgrade on the plane and received no meal, but there was nowhere to get food near the venue. I ended up having to buy some chips out of vending machine. It wasn't a day I wanted to do any fasting.

The venue was a community center and the room was pretty large and held 30 tables for 300 people. I'm not sure 300 people showed up but it was well over 200, so it was packed. We did at least have a full six mics for each actor which helped, but I would say half the crowd really wasn't paying attention to the show so it was a little disappointing in that regard, though if half the people are interested, then we just perform for them. That said, the last scene at least went really well. I guess people were curious about who the murder was at that point.

After the show I got a ride to Pleasanton and checked into the Larkspur hotel once again. The first room had a smoke alarm going off so I had to get another room. Then I head straight over to In-N-Out Burger for a hamburger and over to the gas station for a few beers. Then it was immediately to bed.
