Travel Diary

Today, we were visiting the Titan Missile Silo museum. It’s a very popular thing so we needed tickets in advance. On the way there we stopped at a taco stand place and everyone got some food. It definitely was tempting, but I was trying to eat better in the new year so I passed on everything.

The missile was a fascinating place. There's a brief video in the main building and then you go down into the bunker and get a tour of what the daily lives were, and see the places where the people sat that may have had to launch missiles. Obviously no launch was ever made there.

After that part we were headed over to see where the missile was stored and even though it's a dummy missile, it's certainly quite impressive and massive. It looks more like a rocket to go to the moon than to take out a big city.

We drove over to Adam’s country club and hung out there there for a while having drinks and some food. It's a nice place with very well manicured lawns, and the sunset was certainly impressive. After that it was back home to relax and have dinner.
